ALTA news bites
5/17: Reminder on home improvement projects: homeowners are required to follow CCC and ALTA guidelines that change the exterior of your home, and usually require an approved ACR form in advance. See the Handbook starting on page 12.
5/10-15 With our HOA leadership short-handed, ALTA president Tracey Spear is asking for your help:
If you have landscape/irrigation problems, and with Katie away for a couple weeks, please just email Tracey with your address, pictures and description of the problem.
We need light labor getting the pool bathrooms ready for opening on May 25: some painting, cleaning, hanging things on walls, changing door knobs. Email Tracey if you can help.
During the upcoming pool season, we will need volunteer pool monitors to regularly check furniture and bathrooms and empty the trash baskets. Email Tracey if you would volunteer.
5/10 Reminder of the CCC sign guidelines: one campaign sign per residence, up to 5 sq ft, under 25 days prior to an election, and removed by Nov 6.
5/7: Bark mulch: please see the Landscaping page for the current status and rules.
5/7: Planting: here are the links to the lists for approved and restricted plants.
4/30: Remember that tree "topping" is not permitted. Not only is it unsightly, it may harm the health of the tree. See pages 26-27 of the ALTA Handbook. Also see Property Manager's full message with photos here.
