Approval of exterior alterations and repairs
If you have questions or need architectural support, please first contact the Architectural committee. See the Contacts page for contact information.
The Architectural committee has responsibility for oversight and enforcement of the Association CC&Rs relating to architecture within the Association. The Committee reviews and approves the exterior maintenance and repairs of all homes, which includes any exterior alteration to the homes, relocation of fences or walls, or the extension of decks or patios outside the courtyard. Homeowners must submit an Architectural Change Request (ACR) form to the Property Manager and obtain written approval from the Committee.

NOTE: When you submit this form to ALTA, you do not need to also submit a "Request for Architectural Review" to the CCC.Wall Maintenance Resolution #5 covers maintenance & repairs of the various types of walls - courtyard, perimeter, party.
The CCC Architectural Control Standards can be found here.
The latest 8-year painting schedule can be found here.
NOTE: Homeowners may choose to paint their home more often than every 8 years as long as they adhere to the color guidelines set by ALTA. An ACR is required. They may contact VerHaalen Painting or use the contractor of their choice, but the expense is the responsibility of the homeowner.
