If you have questions or need architectural support, please first contact the Architectural committee and the Property Coordinator. See the Contacts page for contact information.
The Architectural committee has responsibility for oversight and enforcement of the Association CC&Rs relating to architecture within the Association. The Committee reviews and approves any exterior maintenance or alteration to your home, fences/walls, decks/patios, driveway, etc (except inside a courtyard). Homeowners must submit an Architectural Change Request (ACR) form to the Property Coordinator and obtain written approval from the Committee.

Painting The HOA is responsible* for the exterior painting of your home, garage, and arbor/pagoda/trellis up to 150 square feet. The latest (10-15-24) 8-year painting schedule can be found here. Owners can select a color from the approved list (attached homes must agree). Wrought iron gates must be painted black, and brickwork or stonework must be left natural. Before prepping and painting, ALTA's contractor (Verhaalen) will place a notice on your door. Please remove all décor and trellises attached to the exterior, and move pots and planters. See the Handbook page 11-12 for more details.
*NOTE: Some painting expenses are borne by the homeowner: repairs, more than one coat, outside the schedule, and trim or doors in a different color. You must get an ACR approved in advance, and follow the ALTA color guidelines. You may use Verhaalen or any other contractor.
